ELECTED EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
PRESIDENT: Megan Shellman president@boulderbpw.org
The president is the principal officer of Boulder BPW and presides at all meetings of the local organization, the board of directors, and the executive committee.
PRESIDENT-ELECT: Open Position presidentelect@boulderbpw.org
The president-elect performs the duties of the president in the absence of the president, becomes president in the event the president cannot fulfill her/his term, and assists with various activities and events as assigned by the president.
FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT/PROGRAMS: Donna Daniell programs@boulderbpw.org
The first vice-president performs the duties of the president in the absence of the president and president-elect. Serves as leader of the program team.
SECOND VICE-PRESIDENT/MEMBERSHIP: Open Position membership@boulderbpw.org
The second vice-president performs the duties of the president in the absence of the president, the president-elect and the first vice-president. Serves as leader of the membership team.
RECORDING SECRETARY: Kathy Kelly secretary@boulderbpw.org
The recording secretary takes and records minutes of all meetings of Boulder BPW, the board of directors and the executive committee. This person also preserves all records and important correspondence.
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS: Alexandra Goncarvos ecomm@boulderbpw.org
The marketing and communications person informs the media and public about BPW. This person supports all local organization activities and sees that programs and speakers get exposure in the media and the community. This person also oversees the digital correspondence of Boulder BPW, including newsletter and website updates, and serves in other capacities as assigned by the president.
TREASURER: Kristin Richeimer treasurer@boulderbpw.org
The treasurer records transactions, oversees the budget and prepares the monthly treasurer's report.

AUTHORS FAIR: Theresa Nehemias authorsfair@boulderbpw.org
This is an event to recognize local women who are published authors and to give our members a chance to learn more about their path to becoming successful. The Authors Fair team plans the evening event, including the selection of the authors.
BY-LAWS: Transition Task Force bylaws@boulderbpw.org
The by-laws team updates the Boulder BPW by-laws for approval by the membership.
CELEBRATION OF WOMEN: Erin Work-Chou celebration@boulderbpw.org
The Celebration of Women team solicits nominations for the Woman of the Year, Organization of the Year and Member of the Year awards, establishes selection criteria, reviews and interviews applicants, and organizes the award program.
YOUNG CAREERIST: Dr. Jenni Skylar & Lindsay Shaw yc@boulderbpw.org
The Young Careerist team coordinates all activities for the annual Young Careerist program. This event provides an opportunity to highlight the accomplishments of business women ages 20 to 35 in our community. They have an opportunity to improve their interviewing, resumes and speaking skills and compete for the State Young Careerist title.

This team forms relationships with people and organizations in the community who share BPW's mission to promote full participation, equity and economic self sufficiency for working women.

The e-Newsletter is sent out to members on a monthly basis. This includes information about Boulder BPW, program announcements, upcoming events and seminars, member announcements, articles empowering women, social action issues, and photos.
GRANT REVIEW COMMITTEE: Lisa Cunningham grants@boulderbpw.org
This team processes and recommends applications for funds for BPW members and local organizations which fit with the Boulder BPW mission.
HOSPITALITY: Stephanie Bryan hospitality@boulderbpw.org
The hospitality team welcomes guests and new members to monthly meetings. A great way to get to know members.
MEMBERSHIP: Open Position membership@boulderbpw.org
The membership team plans membership drives and coordinates the new member mentoring program. This team also coordinates the mailing of BPW literature and invitations to prospective members.
MENTORING: mentoring@boulderbpw.org
The mission of the Member-to-Member Mentoring Program is to provide learning experiences of benefit to both partners. Its goal is to establish a cooperative and nurturing relationship between a more experienced business person and a less experienced business person who wants to learn about a particular business and gain valuable insight into the unspoken subtleties of doing successful business. The program offers one-on-one customized learning from a trusted, experienced, respected individual.

Have fun taking pictures during BBPW events and local events that BBPW members participate in. This team will work with the Scrapbooking team and Publicity team.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Michelle Etrick development@boulderbpw.org
The professional development team offers programs for individual development such as the public speaking program and the Women in Transition mentoring circle.
PROGRAMS: Donna Daniell programs@boulderbpw.org
The programs team evaluates and chooses speakers and topics for monthly Boulder BPW meetings. This team also negotiates meeting facility contracts, publishes meeting announcements, and provides newsletter articles to promote upcoming events.
RESERVATIONS: Debra Stolper Chance reservations@boulderbpw.org
The reservations team monitors and directs voice mail throughout the month. They also deliver the reservations total to the meeting location by the deadline. The team also negotiates our contract with our meeting venues and coordinates telephone & web reservations from members and guests.

Facilitates the monthly meeting check-in process with the treasurer. A great way to get to know people.
SOCIAL ACTION: Kathy Kelly socialaction@boulderbpw.org
The social action team communicates national and local information about issues that impact professional women. The team also initiates various actions that impact our community toward reaching our BPW mission.
WEBHOST: Goozmo webmaster@boulderbpw.org
The webmaster develops and hosts the Boulder BPW website and maintains archival information about BPW.
WEBMISTRESS: Kathy Robey ecomm@boulderbpw.org
The webmistress keeps Boulder BPW website updated on a bi-monthly basis. Website updates include chapter programs, local, state and national BPW news, announcements and calendar events, and links to information resources that are of interest to members.
