Featured Member- Megan Shellman
A Colorado native, Megan holds a large amount of affinity for this state and all it has to offer: skiing, festivals, hiking, snowshoeing, canoeing, camping... Daughter to an artist, Marikay Shellman, and a festival promoter, Fred Shellman – Megan is a person of unique and creative character.
As Operations Manager for Access Marketing and Events, Megan brings more than a decade of experience in a wide variety of disciplines. Formerly employed in the Music Industry, she worked with bands on an international level. An advertising consultant for a daily paper in Boulder, Colorado, Megan consistently grew her client base. And as the general manager of an interior design and home furnishings store, she directed the implementation of their first computerized sale system, supervised employees and executed a multi-media marketing plan.
Now, as the Access Marketing Operations Manager, Megan is a “Jill of All Trades”. She is the Project Manager for the Creative Department. With a fondness for numbers and formulas, she heads-up the Finance & Contract Department – invoices, contracts, collections, statements and financial reports. At events, Megan can be seen holstered with both a phone and radio, all-the-while assisting with operations to help ensure that the entire conference experience exceeds expectations. In addition, since no one else was up to the task, Megan is the Human Relations Director!
She has gladly found some time in her day to devote to BPW and feels it is a blessing to finally find a group of women with similar backgrounds, jobs and lifestyles.
