Northern Colorado Business and Professional Women is a local chapter of the national BPW. Since 1919 our Mission is "To achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information."
ncBPW is having a great year! And we would like to invite you to find out why, in only 6 short months, we have grown to become the second largest chapter in Colorado!
During this time we have enjoyed speakers on such topics as "How Women have Succeeded in their Businesses," "Marketing You and your Business," and "Networking: Beyond Business Cards." We have also learned more about Pay Equity for all Women, and heard from Colorado State Senator Peggy Reeves!
This time of year is very important to you. Our legislation is in session and there are many issues that will be affecting women. And we want you to be informed! Would you like to know where ncBPW stands on issues like "CEDAW?" Want to know more about "CEDAW?" Go to our national web site at www.bpwusa.org, and find out what the rest of our platform is.
The ncBPW chapter offers information about legislative issues, an opportunity for you to stretch yourself and improving your skills, as well as resources to help you grow. Click here to read about upcoming programs.
And we are growing still! We have added two new teams. One involving Community Service, the other a Women's Development Team.
