Spring 2008 Parenting Classes
Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Referral Sources:
I will be teaching five classes for parents this spring: one evening Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® class for parents of any age kids, two daytime Love and Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun! classes (for parents of kids birth to 6), one evening REAL Parenting® class (for parents of middle school and high school kids), and I will be continuing my daytime Active Parenting for Stepfamilies™ class (for parents, stepparents, foster parents, adoptive parents, single parents and others affected by loss and change). Parents may join this daytime class this spring and then finish by attending the initial classes in the evening in June or wait until June and take the entire class then. My spring and early summer classes are posted on www.REALparenting.net. Below are details about these classes, my parent coaching, and my psychotherapy practice.

Love and Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun! Creating Happy Families and Responsible Kids® for parents of kids birth to 6.
Monday mornings, 9:00 - 11:15, April 21 - May 19, at 1530 55th St. (SE of 55th & Arapahoe), Boulder, sponsored by Becoming Mothers.
Tuesdays midday, 12:15 - 2:30, April 20 - May 20, at 1530 55th St. (SE of 55th & Arapahoe), Boulder, sponsored by The Kangaroo Kingdom.
REAL Parenting® for parents of middle school and high school kids.
Mondays from 6:30 to 9:00, April 21 - May 19, at Dreamcatcher. My REAL Parenting® class focuses on how to build and/or maintain your relationship with your kids. Here is a quote from someone who has taken the class: "REAL Parenting is an eye-opener for those of us who have been insistent that our children must earn our respect. Stephanie's program encourages parents to see the qualities they respect in their children and to express to them that they are valued for who they truly are. Learning to listen in an empathetic way is another whole new experience. REAL Parenting gave me tools to deal with situations I had no idea how to handle."
Active Parenting for Stepfamilies™ for parents, stepparents, foster parents, adoptive parents, single parents and others affected by loss and change.
Fridays, 11:30-2:00, Feb. 29, Mar. 14, Apr. 11, 25, May 9, 23, at 1530 55th St. (SE of 55th & Arapahoe), Boulder, , Boulder.

Welcome baby Klara!
Please join Jennifer and Scott Olson in welcoming their new daughter, Klara Olson.
Klara was born January 14th at 2:27 a.m (why do they always have to come in the middle of the night?). She was 7 lbs, 6 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long and has more hair already than her big sister, Brennan, does. Everyone is healthy and doing just fine. But, as you can imagine, already with a 16 month old, we have been and will be crazy busy. (Give us strength!)
Business Move
After ten years with the large real estate franchise, ERA Tradewind, Jeannie Hamilton has formed her own brokerage, HAMILTON PROPERTIES. Since earning her real estate license in 1998, Jeannie has operated her successful real estate business as an independent broker out of her home office. With this new move, "only the name has changed" and business will continue as usual.
