MONTHLY PROGRAMS AND BOARD MEETINGS:
Boulder BPW meets on the third
Thursday of the month at A Spice of Life Event Center, 5706 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder.
Programs cover a broad range of topics of interest to working women.
Guests are welcome, so feel free to bring a friend. We just ask that you
make your reservation by the Monday before the meeting. Networking
begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a business meeting. We break
for dessert and networking prior to the featured program. The featured
program runs from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Walk-ins the evening of the meeting are welcome for $35.
The Board of Directors
meets the first Thursday of the month at
The YWCA, 2222 14th Street, Boulder. BPW team leaders and members
are welcome to attend Board meetings.
If you would like to add an item to a
meeting agenda, please contact the
BPW President at least one
week prior to the meeting.

AUGUST 2008 PROGRAM: DRESSING SLIM AND THE POWER OF IMAGE Carol Steinbrecher, Speaker Boulder BPW
Lose 10 pounds without hours of exercise! Learn about figure types (there’s 8, not just 4!), how to work with them and clothing silhouettes that present a polished professional image that heightens your impression of yourself and those around you!
Carol provides image management services to individuals and businesses assisting them to achieve their personal and professional goals of gaining confidence, authority and appropriateness through dress, grooming and etiquette. Carol has 15+ years experience as a tailor, custom designer and stylist. She is also an Independent CAbi consultant and offers a line of famous designer clothing. Carol is a graduate and affiliate of the Conselle Institute of Image Management and a member of the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals (ASDP) and the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI).

SEPTEMBER 2008 PROGRAM: NETWORKING Facilitator: Elizabeth Powers, Speaker Boulder BPW
Join us for a energizing evening networking with our facilitator, Elizabeth Powers. Elizabeth Powers is an expert in a powerful change methodology called PSYCH-K®.
Currently, working as both a PSYCH-K instructor and PSYCH-K coach, Elizabeth helps people to create quick and lasting change, easily and effortlessly through using the power of the subconscious mind. Elizabeth helps people transform their self-defeating beliefs into self-enhancing beliefs thereby producing quick and often dramatic change. Elizabeth is one of only fifteen certified instructors of this powerful change methodology. She is licensed to teach both the Basic and Advanced PSYCH-K workshops world-wide.
Elizabeth has dedicated her entire career to helping people achieve lasting change. She started out as a psychotherapist and later plunged into the corporate world consulting to fortune 500 companies nationwide in the area of change management. She currently teaches nationally and internationally. In addition, she enjoys helping individuals in one-on-one sessions to break through the limitations of their conditioning through using PSYCH-K. In addition, Elizabeth is a national public speaker.
